Joining Compsoc

Compsoc membership is something that is useful to anyone. Even if you're not into computers we provide loads of services that are useful to anyone. If you're wondering why you should join then take a look at the services we provide.

Currently Membership is open to all Students and Staff of NUI, Galway but we are looking into possibly extending the criteria to include past members of the society who are Alumni of the university. The membership fee is the king's ransom of a sum of €2 and is great value for everthing you get.

How to join:

Join through the NUI, Galway student portal yourspace.nuigalway.ie and then email the committe to be set up with your Compsoc account.
Come to one of the many Tutorials, Workshops, Talks, Meetings and other events we hold during the year
Come along on to the Compsoc stand on Clubs and Socs day in September
E-mail join@compsoc.nuigalway.ie and one of the admins will meet you and sign you up.

All you need to do is pick a username, pay your €2, sign the membership book and we'll set up your account. It's that easy.

Every member has a unique username. If you have already thought of one to use, check if the username is taken.
